After acceptance of your reservation request and/or signature of the form (binding on both parties) by you, if applicable, payment of the deposit (2 nights public rate or 50% of the total amount: whichever is greater) must be made within eight clear days by bank transfer or cheque, otherwise your reservation request will be considered null and void. In all cases, the cancellation, late arrival or early departure conditions listed below apply.

General cancellation policy:

Free cancellation up to 60 days before arrival.

50% cancellation fee within 60 days of arrival.
A 50% deposit is required upon reservation.

Cancellation conditions during the pandemic period :

CANCELLATION WITHOUT CHARGE for bookings during this period, only in the event of cancellation of air and/or sea transport due to COVID, then positive COVID 19 test (with proof).

In the event of interruption of the stay :

In the event of interruption of the stay by the customer, no refund will be made.

Special cancellation conditions :

In the event of death, accident or illness requiring hospitalization for at least 8 days of the tenant, his/her spouse, ascendants or direct descendants:
– If notice is given at least 30 days before the planned date of entry into the premises: 50% of the sums paid will be reimbursed, on presentation of official receipts.

– If he/she gives notice between 11 and 30 days before: there is a 25% refund, if official receipts are produced.

– In the event of cancellation 10 days or less prior to arrival, and in all other cases, or in the absence of supporting documents, the tenant forfeits the entire deposit. The remaining amount due for the reservation becomes immediately payable. (see below)

In the alternative, if the tenant is unable to take possession of the premises on the agreed date, it is essential to notify the owner by telephone before noon on the day in question, and to confirm immediately by e-mail with acknowledgement of receipt.

After this time, the present booking will be considered cancelled by operation of law. In the case of a deposit, the balance due will be immediately payable and the owner will be free to re-let the accommodation to a third party on the same evening. In the event of late arrival or early departure (with the exception of the above cancellation conditions) the full amount of the stay is due or, if already paid, remains the property of the owner in its entirety.

No refund or indemnity can be claimed by the tenant, signatory of the present. However, every effort will be made to re-let the availability thus created and to carry over, at the owner’s sole discretion, part or all of the sums concerned to a future stay.

Cancellation by the owner :

Before the stay, if the owner of the Oliveraie du Fango cancels the stay, he must inform the customer by e-mail. The customer will be reimbursed immediately and without penalty. Insofar as possible, the owner will do everything possible to help the customer find another rental in the area.

Pets :

Pets are not allowed at the Fango olive grove. If this clause is not respected, the owner of the guest house may refuse the stay and no refund will be made.

Any dispute that cannot be settled amicably will be submitted to the competent court of the rental location.
